    Might be easier & cheaper to get a slightly thicker set of speaker stands.

    Our Mackies have always fitted our stands very snugly & haven't needed the screws tightning anyway.

    So you have some Mackie speaker screws which you don't use?

    i meant more along the lines of was it just the one you wanted- if so i'll meet you half way at £35.
    I might even meet you half way literally too given you are only a couple of miles down the road.

    It is just the one I'm after, and thanks for your offer to accept £35 for this.

    I'll give it another week or so, just in case someone else comes along with a better offer, but if not I'll gladly accept yours & will phone you to make the necessary arrangements.
