Christmasifying Websites
This is something I do for a few clients - you know the kind of thing - add some snow, a Christmassy background, maybe a Santa hat or Xmas pudding somewhere in their normal heading or logo...usually from around now until Christmas.
It's a nice wee touch - does anybody else do it?

No as my target market isn't Christmas-led events.
But I do have a Christmas and a New Years Eve page because believe it or not there are some people sad enough to decide where they're celebrating this Yuletide based on where I'm appearing...

Same here, although it's an interesting idea.
It reminds me of a certain search engine which often changes its logo to fit in with various holidays, times of year & various other events as well.

Bah Humbug to you! It's not about target markets etc...it's about spreading a nice warm Christmassy feel

Whoaaaa Marc, having seen that, I'm quite warming to the idea now!
I have some website amendments to get done soon, so maybe I'll ask my webhost to Christmasify my website at the same time!

I've had an xmas party page since February time, with a Santa hat on my logo for just that page. I changed the logo for the standard header to it as well just a couple of weeks back..

Why wait, if you want it I'll switch it for you, no charge
While on the subject, for maximum cheese you can't beat a bit of snow - here's my favourite Javascript Snow
