Sounds petty, but i just don't like the look of them.
I've heard them, as my mum sung with her trio at some venue where they were using some. They sounded nice, i just don't like the look of them.

the idea behind them is to be unobtrusive - and provide correct and audible volume levels throughout the venue -
i reckon they would be best suited for weddings and corporate events where image is everything- but i can't see a problem with putting them out for a 18th birthday party or something similar.
I've heard them in several different surroundings and the clarity is stunning as is the dispersion. If you are just doing small to medium venues and mainly corporates and classy weddings, then I think the look and sound is spot on.
However, if you are doing anything with big beats and lots of bass, I reckon you'd need different subs as these just don't go low enough or have enough oomph IMO.
funny you should mention that, I do aim to tap into the wedding and corporate market - because very few companies in Edinburgh specialise in that sort of side of things - there are about 4 very big multi operator companies who have a lions share of the party nights.
i don't feel i can confidently offer a proper service like that until i have the correct gear - so am picking up party work wherever possibl at the moment to fund purchase of new equipment.
But what happens when drunk girls want to dance around then
