IMO think that would look well out of place on a modern disco rig, despitre if it sounds good or not, it just looks too old fashoned, like a lot of home made speakers do.

That box looks like a poor copy of those rather colourful "Disco Smash" boxes one sees at fairgrounds.
disco smash, may not be the best around, but their certainly waterproof!

The spec for the speaker says it mustnt be run without a port.
I dont remember why this cab wasnt braked as all my other cabs are.
So if want to hear and feel the deep bass, you will need to corner load the sub. Sound a bit daft to have the port on the rear when the party will be infront of it.
How many litres is the cab???

Many thanks for your interest but the cab has been sold to a local disco.
He said he wanted something with a decent bass output and was very happy after listening to the cab.

He was delighted with the cab and the price.
He said 18 inchers were hard to find at a sensible price.
I sold it to him for what it cost for the driver £150.
He said he was a bit of a bass freak.

Personally I would have bought the driver new (they're less than £130 ex vat) and gone up into the woods to get my firewood
