Default Laptop guru help needed please!!

    Morning all,

At the weekend I got myself a new laptop purely for Dj'ing purposes.

I have PCDJ FX installed on it. The question is how do I get my PCKJ program off the old laptop and onto the new one

    Hopefullly it's nice and simple

(By the way it's snowing here in Chesterfield )

the only way is to reinstall it on the new laptop

not sure how pcdj works with the record case/playlist's ect but if you find where they are stored you should be able to copy them across

No, it isn't nice and simple. You need to contact PCDJ who will reset all your codes for you. (PAC, MID etc) Where did you get the software from?

    Daz,

PCKJ was originally purchased by me and the "new" laptop came from a certain recently retired DJ

Speak to PCDJ then, and they will help you with new codes.
