    Default EV Speakers

I use a set of ElectroVoice Sx300's and they fit soooo snug on my stands, that at the end of night they are a mission to get off. Does anyone else have these issues, or is there an 'adapter' available on the market to remedy such a thing?

I think we had this discussion a while ago. I have this problem with certain speaker stands. Can't find the thread.

It might be to do with EV speakers as I have the same problem when using my SXA100s. I get them off by turning the tripod upside down. (Making sure no-one is anywhere near you!)

Not a good problem to have though. Most of the time you need to be setup in about an hour.

You could use glass paper on the inside of the pole mount on the speaker to make it a little wider. Then use some furniture polish on it to make it slippery this worked for me on some of my speakers in the past.
When the world ends , ill probably have to clean up the mess.

We have the same problem with EVs. But, Like Daz said, we tip the speaker over and twist the stand out.

It's not a problem when setting up. It's just getting the darn things off the stand at the end of the night!
