Acme Genesis moving head
Had 2 of these delivered today. Smaller than I expected, which is goodThey seem quite bright, I haven't had chance to compare them with the iMoves yet as I'm waiting for some lamps to arrive.
The rotating gobo's are quite good. I shall post a video soon.

The rotating gobos look good if used with a DMX controller, but they hardly rotate at all if you run them master and slave.Originally Posted by tc1ooo

They are no where near as bright as the Isolution mover if you are projecting more than a few feet. I did a side by side comparison in a shop. The gobos weren't as sharp either.
Much nicer looking than the Imoves and I like the fact that the display is not on the front!

Depends which way you hang them though.Much nicer looking than the Imoves and I like the fact that the display is not on the front!
Still prefer the Imove 5S after seeing these in my local dealer.
I prefer the x-moves over the genesis..
Would be interesting to read a full review of these lights though.
