Default Theres logging in, & theres logging in

    Hi,

Just wondered if anyone else is having the same problem as me?

Sometimes, I will log in, and there I am, all sorted and able to access my private messages and see the latest threads.

Other times, I log in, and get thanked for logging in, but when I get directed to the forum pages, I'm not logged in!

This also seems to happen if I have spent ten minutes reading a long post and come to try and put my reply in. It's automatically logged me out.

Sorry if this is the wrong area to post, but my enquiry to the forum gods via email, went un answered.

Please... Any advice would be appreciated, As I hate having to quit explorer and reload every time.

    That seems a bit odd

I don't get that.....have you checked your user CP? Is that set correct....?
Failing that....you may have to wait for an admin....have you PM'ed one yet?

Is that a double there's or should it be different........Rob will tell me.

It doesn't sound as if the problem is forum based. It sounds more like a cookie based issue within your Browser.

Hopefully the more computer savvy members of the forum will have a better idea of how to help.

It's not the forum, as Shaun says it's probably down to something on your PC.

Have you tried logging in from another PC?

Try clearing your cookies and then logging in again. It might be getting confused with a number of cookies perhaps.

Failing that, remove offline files too and visit the forum again. That will put an updated copy of the forum pages on your computer.

    Cheers,
    Adam

It would make sense, as sometimes, the only way for the problem to be sorted is for me to delete all the temporary files and cookies, etc, and then restart explorer.

Will see if I can do a good i explorer update, and rectify it that way...

Then I really must get some grammar lessons sorted. (see post title)
