    Default Keyboard help

My Vista laptop keyboard doesn't have the symbols corresponding with the keys in some places. No pound sign, Quotation marks and others are found elsewhere.
How can I correct it? I can't find the old language option anywhere, which I think may be the culprit.

    £@#""/$ Wahey!

Thanks for that, you were nearly right.
I did as you said, and found I'd already done that. On further investigation, it appears that more keyboards are available. It sems I needed to use United Kingdom-Extended. One lives and one learns. Thanks again.

    Someone beat me to it---

Vista Laptop--you mean Vista as opposed to XP?

Anyway you get exactly the same on XP---I know I have both.

I bought 2 laptops in the last 2 years---same problem.

Would be nice if they knew the item was coming to UK they might set it up properly for us

I suppose they get sent all over the World

    You know the quote.
