Thumbs down Where do my posts go?

I have now written a post to the techi help lights area twice, each time it shows up as entered, but when I return it has gone, and my post count has not gone up.

What is going on? is it because I am new?

Luckily last time I kept a copy to save me typing again.

    Guidance appreciated

    Nothing untoward.

Yes, new members posts go into a moderation queue & have to be approved before they go live.

Its good here - my post that I wrote last nigh finally came back this morning tidier than when I wrote it, and the replacement post I wrote was not sent through, saving me repeating myself.

Great service - sorry to question....

    No worries.

We've had a lot of trouble with spammers in the past. The moderation of new members is a temporary measure put in place to combat the issue.

Usually new members are taken out the moderation queue once they introduced themselves in the 'newbies' section of the forum, which I see you've already done. I've removed you from moderation, so your future posts should now show immediately after you post them. Enjoy the forum.
