Default 6 yr old birthday for over 30 kids!!

    Hey everyone!

Right! I have a kids party on sunday for over 30 6 yr olds. The games i normally do (mummy game, monkey game etc) wont really work with this amount of kids!

I was wondering if anyone knew or had any games for larger groups of kids like this?

    Any help would be great.

    Cheers

Play music, get the bubble machine out and make sure you have plenty of fluid!

Things like musical statues would be a good start as you can do that with a lot of kids.

I'm sure Mr Mayhem will be along to help at some point.

At the youth centre we do:-

    - Dance competition

    - Musical statues

    - Musical pairs (get them in pairs, play music and when you stop say something like "Feet to feet" "Hands to hands" Hands to feet" then then have to touch there partners feet with there hands etc and the slowest to do so is off

    - Hunt for the music note (hide as many paper music notes asyou have kids round the room, make the kids find them all but only prize per child) that will get them working together trying to find them

Maybe Try a Parachute?! They can be amazing fun with lots of children!!! You can play games such as Washing Machine where a little one sits in the middle and everyone walks round in a circle until they are fully covered by the twisted parachute - then everyone runs in the opposite direction causing the child in the middle to be spun round and round! Great if you add a song to the movements!
