    Thanks

As I mentioned in post 1, I 'nicked' the lampholder from one of the Stormbirds as an emergency repair for another light. The Stormbirds have been kept as backup for a while now, flightcased, and it was only when I decided to use the flightcases for other lights that I thought it was time I got rid. They're very good room fillers but not DMXable. Sound-to-light only.

So if you open up the afflicted Stormbird, where the lampholder should be you'll find two white wires poking out. You just need a replacement lampholder and a junction block (ceramic type due to the heat) and 5 minutes with a screwdriver. There's a link to the correct lampholder kit on post 1 - think it's about £7.

    The second Stormbird is untouched.

These take ELC 24V 250W lamps, so nice and cheap. The untouched Stormbird has a working lamp but obviously I can't guarantee this in transit.

JUST TO CLARIFY WHAT'S LEFT AND TO ANNOUNCE
    FINAL PRICE REDUCTIONS

Last chance to pick up a bargain before I am forced to resort to eBay. I've reduced ALL the items and PRICES INCLUDE DELIVERY to UK Mainland. I'll accept cheques, PayPal (boo!) or bank transfer. Invoices provided to keep Mr Tax happy if you want one.

    Acme Astro DMX RGB

Brand new in box. All cables, manual etc.

    http://www.soundmastersdirect.co.uk/...rgb-dmx-astro/

    Price £70 delivered

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pair of low profile speaker stands in canvas carry bag.

I can see these being useful for folks with tall speakers who just want them off the floor, or for PA use.

    http://www.soundlightuk.com/shop/pro...ker-Stand.html

Supplied as a PAIR in a canvas carry bag.

    Price £30 delivered.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Panasonic VDR-250EB DVD-R SD video camera.

Excellent condition apart from one small mark on the casing. Supplied with all leads, connectors, chargers etc. and 45 8cm DVD-R's plus 6 DVD-RWs. The only thing missing is the software disc but the majority of windows and mac software will talk to it as a generic USB video capture device; also the DVD-Rs it produces can of course be read on any DVD device.

    http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/pl/8-55...-Prices?sort=7

Price £130 delivered. The blank discs are worth at least £30.

    AND A COUPLE OF 'PROJECTS'

I've done my best to describe the faults/further work required on these items but if you're in any doubt I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. These are all "I'll have a look at that sometime" projects that I've never got round to finding time to finish!

    Big Fantasy Laser Ball

Has a few knocks and bumps and really needs a good servicing - however still turns and all lasers work (see video). Buyer will need to iron out a couple of dinges and possibly touch up the odd little rust patch to make this pristine. Ball is about 12" diameter and contains 96? laser pointers. Can be truss-mounted by attaching two standard clamps to make a great centerpiece.

You won't find these in DJ shops. It's pretty unique.

    Price £40 delivered.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Pair of Acme Stormbirds.

Good working order and were flightcased for most of their life (cases not supplied). One of them had it's lamp holder removed as an emergency fix for another light and I never got round to replacing. Lamp holder here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/REPLACEMENT-LA...ht_1197wt_1167

    The other unit is unmolested.

    http://www.djkit.co.uk/product.php?id=1796

£50 delivered for the pair (one fine, one needing repair)
