Processor - Celeron M or Core Duo 2
    Ram - about 4GB
HDD type (IDE/ SATA) - Whichever is standard, OEM I thought.
Graphics card model - Preferably Integrated
What inputs do need - USB, LAN, Soundcard, PS2 (integrated)

I shall be using obviously a DVD + RW or 2.

If this computer is purely for video editing; i would avoid connection to the internet. Just my opinion, saves aload of crap from getting onto your P.C.

I Agree, there's not much point really.
But as it's pretty much 'Plug and Play', I can upload videos directly.

Not sure if I'll use it for other things as well.

    UPDATE
    S-VIDEO CONNECTION IS A MUST

S-Video Out to connect to My LCD TV.

Are the Motherboards with everything integrated the cheapest/best option, or would you reccomend seperate cards?

I would recommend separates as the ram is used for the OS than being shared for the graphics. Plus its then upgradable! That 250 is s video out so you ok. As for i7 there poor really. i5s will be out soon there said to be better.
