    Default Cortex HDC-1000

    Hi,

Reluctantly, looking for seriously tempting offers on my Cortex HDC-1000 Digital Player.

It is AS NEW condition and still has the manufacturers plastic covers on the screens. I have only played about 3 songs on this as I used it for backup when PCDJ in conjunction with my DAC3 controller had a rare hiccup.

It is still under manufacturers warranty and I have the original receipt and NO it is NOT B STOCK! It is complete with all the original packaging, and manuals.

These retail from anything from £260 - £299. I'm sure some smarty-pants will quote cheaper.

Do a price check here: http://www.djpricecheck.co.uk/search.php?q=HDC+1000

Offers of choclate bars, beers and the usual silly offers will be treated with the usual contempt!

Reason for possible sale: Looking to purchase a Pioneer MEP7000 or DDS80

Buyer to arrange pickup/courier and insurance.

PM me if you are interested

I would have made you an offer if I hadn't just bought a Numark DMC2

    Thanks Scott,

It would make a great back-up unit to your controller

Its something that some of us would find handy as a backup. Can you give us a clue of a ballpark that you are thinking in?

You can't seriously compare those two.

The Pioneer MEP 7000 wins hands down (apart from price, but if your looking for easy of use, quality & performance, go for the MEP, don't even look at the DDS 80.

If you have any questions or queries on the MEP, feel free to drop me a PM, I'll happily answer them.

I have one question.......how many lesson do you give (free) so you can move your hands as quick as you when giving demo's?

BPM.....I do have some questions for you.

    WITHDRAWN FROM SALE

OK chaps thanks for your comments, so much so I have decided to keep the Cortex Unit....It's brand new and only serves as a back up and but it does its job really well.

I personally like to DJ with my DAC3 in conjunction with PCDJ/VJ on my laptop, nothing fancy, but it does the job well. I love the fact that you can see all your directorys and files at a glance. Now wouldn't it be good if you could attach a LCD screen to a player and expand the view to get all the directories?

I am an old fart and I have a problem remembering song titles and the laptop just jogs the old brain cells now and again. I am going to create a few playlists from the suggested ones on the forum to compensate.

To be honest I have some spare cash and it was burning a whole in my pocket and still is! Heavon only knows what I am going to be like at the BPM with the goodies on display.

Humble apologies to anyone who had an interest, although no offers were received.

    Thank you.
