In the advertisers section there's an admin post about policies with the above mentioned companies.

It gives links to two special websites which automatically give a 10% discount to new policies taken out by MDD forum members, and states that the discount will be applied automatically.

Having used one of these sites to get a quote for a combined equipment & PLI policy, the price that came up was exactly the same as the quote I got from their normal site.

Therefore, am I right in thinking that these discounts no longer apply?

I'm pretty sure that's not the case, Rocket.

As far as I know, they are special websites, as they have "/mdd" at the end of the normal url...which I understand should give the 10% discount automatically.

Either I'm doing something wrong, or these discounts no longer apply, in which case I think the post in question needs deleting to avoid confusion.

No. Two different companies at the moment, one for gear & one for PLI, but the combined Music/DJ Guard policy looks a fair bit cheaper, especially with the 10% discount & £10 reduction for applying online...hence my interest.
