People arent that fussed about bloomin lights though! They wont dance to any more songs because of the lighting.

Sad I know but its true. Believe me Ive spent a small fortune on lights!

Really ? I just spent a hour setting up a light show for a 18th with custom Gobo's which will look awsome, flying seperate Happy, 18th, Birthday round the room till they settle and spell out the whole message... then send that whole message round the room. Trust me... the look on the customer face says it all.. and the tip £££!
Lights do make a differance ... in the pocket... and in the referrals

    Granted.....

Well I like my mystics, they are abit ugly to look at but effective and I love the movement of them.

Im really lucky because theres more venues that allow smoke rather than not around here.

Considering the price and the fact they have zero maintaince and light too they have many advantages.

I'm with you on the dots there nutter and the only LED light I use (that isn't for wash) is the ImpossiLED, which is a good "area covering" light but does nothing for me really. I think people that say "all LED" shows are good are the ones that are "all LED" already and maybe for the wrong reasons like saving on bulbs, weight etc....

The LED light I've just been looking at is the Acme Matrix (http://www.djstore.com/item/acmmatr01.htm?affid=froogle) a step in the right direction but still not doing it for me.

Slightly OT but does anyone know when the ADJ Revo 4 lands?

That's DEFINITELY on my shopping list as an ImpossibLED replacement.

By the time thats happened the light will probably need replacing anyway (unless it's due to a fault)

In all fairness (which goes against what Ive said earlier) if they did start going I'd buy another two irocks to go with the two I have already.
