Only a suggestion....Maybe Corabar has some ideas....following on from her recent success with that map type thing.

Not many of us have personal pics as Avatars and all of our other pics seem to be when we are working.Sometimes it helps to put a name to a face.The SUGGESTION is we create a sticky section where we put a nice current photo of ourseleves(perhaps with our families>>>I know there may be issues) to prove that we have a life outside of the decks.Perhaps even a link to our Facebook sites??

It might be nice to see who you are falling out with

Its taken me nearly 3 months to get an avatar!!!!!! And I did try that on many occassions with no joy. Its because I am IT simpleton.

To resize images....

Click the link below and download the shareware software.

Once installed follow the instructions below...

On the left hand menu under 'Files', select open file and locate the image you want to resize.

Then choose Resize pictures from the 'Actions' menu down the left and choose a maximum width of around 600 pixels. Make sure the "maintain the aspect ratio" box is ticked and the height will resize automatically when you adjust the width.

To remove the default watermark, click on Add Watermark in the 'Actions' Menu, then untick the box that says "I want to watermark my picture".

Click PROCESS (which is located on the bottom right). Choose your destination folder which you want to save to. Vioia!


The instructions will all become apparent when you install the software.

Alternatively, you should be able to resize using windows PAINT.

Wow, this the 26th post in a thread asking people to post pics of themselves, and I'm the first person to do so!
