    Default zoom smoke machine

    my machine is playing up --- when it has fluid in it it says that unit has low fluid/empty --- tried cleaning but still the same -- all i can think of is a sticking float --- any suggestions please!!!!

    cost me £110 ---- i used to have one of the cheap and nasty blue see through ones but decided to splash out
    model is zoom powerfog 1000dj ---cracking machine --- when the thing works!!!!!!!!!!!

    Zoom are not known for their reliability or high costings, hence my comment.

    no idea --- i only bought it cos it seemed good value for money --- used to use those soundlab blue plastic ones --- total rubbish them!!!
    anyway got it fixed i think ---- filled the reservoir with warm water and gave it a good shake --- must have been a level indicator float sticking because its working fine now. take your point about the reliability though cos they have been discontinued now
