Wouldn't touch either with a bargepole - cheap & nasty, however, if you actually really need a five channel mixer go for the numark, if not obviously go for the American Audio

Excellent advice as usual Tony. Sadly, I feel you may have overestimated the available funds by £500 to £600 pounds.

I'm just in the process of buying a Numark C3FX. Will let you know what it's like when it arrives!

I have an ADJ Q-2422. Very versatile unit, easy to use, excellent sound and no problems of any kind - same as for my ADJ SDJ-2 card player - in 18 months of regular use.

Which, together, make up my main playout console. No plans to change.

Alternatives - in my current backup console (soon to be split and sold off!) I have a Gemini PS 727 mixer... very good and solid mixer which can be had for small £££'s, or get the newer version (PS828) instead... --> http://www.whybuynew.co.uk/Gemini-PS...r-PS-828X.html

... or you could get yourself a mixer with the same layout as a Pioneer DJM unit with the Behringer DJX 700 or 750... DJX700 for a ton here --> http://www.whybuynew.co.uk/DJX-700-B...nel-Mixer.html
