Can't tell you how many, but I'd have to suggest not buying a vanful of budget type stuff. It all comes to pieces too quickly. Spend a few bob more and get something better.

    Two per team....

Best tune to play....Walk Like an EGYPTIAN...(3.24) just long enough...

    Split into Boys Versus Girls....

Tell them you'll need a Team Captain.... FOR EACH....they love that!!

Invite the Mums and Dads to help if they are struggling

Right...I have been working on this and have a list of songs for each age group, some which overlap. I am going to do one game/activity for each age group, party dances and then poppy stuff.

What do you think? Perhaps people could copy and paste/edit the lists to include enough songs for the specified time, so I can see what people think is best.

God....you've gone to a lot of trouble Darren.

Kids Parties are nothing like that.I'll bear my on Reading Town Halls steps if you are able to stick rigidly to those playlists.....great songs that they are.

Some of those in list 1 I'd mix in list two and three!!

I'd honestly leave your playlists at home and take your personality instead

You've only got El Frog in the first batch. That's not right if you don't play it at least six times in the whole gig.

Sorry, but that post is a complete waste of time. I don't do kids parties generally and won't be again for a while. I want to be organised and know exactly what I am doing and when.

Sheesh....if you can't answer the post Martin, then please don't bother.

Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

I have done my research. I have done quite a few kids parties in my life but not recently. I have spoken to Mr Mayhem and know what is involved. I have kids of my own, so have had their opinions on some of the tracks and I have worked extensively with kids in the local community over the last 5 years.

Obviously I will fail at this because I am not you and don't do it your way.

Oh, and personality? You have nothing on the master...

Your first statement is very good Darren.....I like it a lot!!

Chatting to Garry was a good thing too....But Garry is not about Music and Games....Garry is about Garry. What he's got he couldn't give to me or you or Jules or anybody. However as a good ol' jobbing DJ who works a lot with kids and who doesn't have what Garrys got.....I may have been of more use to you.(see new Avatar ...by coincedence).

On the personality front Darren.I am in awe of your Business Sense,Technical Knowledge and Organisational Skills...and thats not being patronising. However on the personality front I MAY give you a run for your money...especially with Kids!!
