Listening to England Vs Germany in the car on the way to the airport in 1990. We were off to Ibiza and arrived at the airport just as it went to penalties. We rushed in thinking there would be a TV somewhere, but to no avail.
IN the end, we found one person with a small radio/cassette player with about 50 people crowded round listening.
Seems like yesterday!

Went to Tenerife with 16 lads when England played Argentina and Beckham got sent off for rubbing his boot down the leg of a player.
We were in a medieval banquet and put the football on as an extra on one of the biggest screens i've ever seen....about 600 to 800 people all with England tops on.
Group at the back were really vocal....'Stand up for England, Stand for England.....'
Superb night.....

This does annoy me when the subject of football comes up...
I was only saying Darren. I have no problem with other people watching it as it's a popular sport...Maybe I should've added one of these
I just prefer Rugby and Ice Hockey.
That's my point. You don't need to say if you are not interested in it.
