    Default Silly action man!

Over the past 5 days, I've met 3 couples about their big day.

This is odd, as in the past (my) couples haven't really bothered about a meet. I wonder if it's because there is a picture of me on the website and I look young?

Anyhow, the final couple arranged to meet on Sunday 23rd May. On the 22nd (Saturday) they called to postpone it to the following Sunday. Annoyingly, they postponed it again to today.

Gran ( ) drove me up (a good 25/30 minutes drive) for silly action man to say "Oh, today isn't convenient, Sally is with her mum. Can you come back tomorrow?"

So I got out of bed, popped a suit on and spent 65 minutes in a car with Gran - for nothing!

My question is...Would it be cheeky to ask for a bit more dosh, for coming out again? How long can this go on for?

I know they aren't wasting my time as they've paid a £50 deposit.

    What would you lot do?

Yeah, that's where I went wrong. (Like Gran said)

Still - I've learnt something today. I just presumed, having to spoke to her on Saturday, everything was tickety boo.

I would state initially that there is only one pre function meeting at a convenient time for both parties.

Should that be necessary, though? (especially when on both previous occasions when the client couldn't make it they contacted Charlie to re-arange it).

If I've made an appointment to meet some clients, I certainly wouldn't be ringing before visiting them to make sure they hadn't forgotton about the meeting...just like I wouldn't expect them to ring me for the same reason.

Steady on, Charlie...I haven't met 3 couples before their big day this YEAR! (although I will have done next Sunday afternoon).

    Charlie

I know most folks here know the answer anyway, but why not turn off your age display on the forum cp and run a poll against the pic that's on your website asking folks to guess how old you look?

It's obvious you're under 40 but I'd bet most people would get it wrong

Sorry, but I disagree. It's the responsibility of the person unable to make the meeting to apologise, and reschedule. ( With profuse apologies). Hmmmmm, am I showing my age? Not like me to do that.
