Found out that the lighting stands I have are part of the American DJ dura truss system.

My initial thought was that it wasn't a rivet, but a dome head screw. TX or hexagon fixing. Doesn't make sense for it to be welded, or rivetted, as since it's standard 35mm diameter, it's got to be able to accept a 35mm tube from another stand.

I'm convinced it unscrews. And if it doesn't, it can be persuaded to.

Peter Thats a spigot mount system in that blown up section, which is why the picture of his stand shows a bolt in the top of it at present.

The adaptors need to be able to fit trilite triangle trussing 50mm.
Where the american dj mounts don't look like they fit my trilite trussing.

    I'm so confused

In English please? If he removes the ing 35mm pole stub, by fair means or foul, he can drop the box section sleeve over his stand pole, and bolt the y thing down for good measure!! Can't he?

Hi use a lot of trilite the stirup fitting on your pics look to small for trilite as you say 50mm diameter what you really need is some proper truss adaptors which are normally hinged have a look at the ultimate site its all on there.

The trussing adapters fit the trilite trussing fine.
