    Due to my general stupidity and not searching in my collection properly, I have just bought the following CDs, which I now have for sale....

    Bangles - Greatest Hits
    Shalamar - Very Best Of
    James - The Best Of
    Brand New Heavies - Platinum Collection
    Manic Street Preachers - Greatest Hits
    Five Star - Greatest Hits

    All brand new, £15 + postage.

    How does that work out? Surely Charlie can't use them as they are second hand?

    He has bought the original media from him, there is no issue.
    THe CDs have not been copied or manipulated in anyway

    I always thought (and from what I have read on here) that if you purchased music from someone who had already paid out to the copyright holder then that person would not be able to use it for commercial purposes.
