Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing.

I'd be a little concerned applying the adhesive while the cabinet was loaded, but that video is a great little tutorial.

Contact adhesive is harsh stuff, usually containing a mix of aliphatic and aromatic solvents as a base. Some can have a high VOC %, so I'd be inclined to suggest the 3M Fastbond 4224NF as it is water-based and so you don't have to worry too much about ventilation or picking up a respirator.

I imagine the guys in that video were buzzing!

May be an idea to open an account with Adam Hall and buy from them direct. I know companies like Blue Aran and Clas Ohlson buy in bulk and add their markup, which can sometimes mean you are paying more for the same product. I can vouch for the quality of the Adam Hall carpet.

And remember, let the adhesive cure for a few minutes after you apply it. I cannot overstate that enough!

blue aran sell good quality carpet - nice and stretchy which is what you need to do a good job. I use carpet glue to stick it down and then tidy up the corners with some corner protectors
