As DJ's we are the entertainment so people will be naturally be looking our way and might be having a bit of a laugh about some aspect of our appearance or music choice or some other thing, it's human nature I guess? But just think, they might actually be making compliments not criticising.
I conduct myself properly and do a good job so if people want to talk about me that's their issue not mine.. over the years I've grown quite a thick skin and believe I'm OK, I'm an alright person and a good DJ so I'm not really bothered about what others think too much, although it's nice to think it's good stuff they are thinking.
That's a cracking post, looks like your wife has had you on the sofa a few times huh? lol

yep but i think its a good thing but its always at the start of the night really I had this thing for ages thinking a 7-12 disco should have people dancing from 7 til 12. Naturally after awhile you learn how people usually behave at gigs and you have more of a clue of what with work with certain crowds.
Im sure we've all had people request some awful track but you play it because they asked for it, for it to clear the floor and the person who requested it sits down too.
