Default New wedding directory, do we feel the price is right?

I was approached by a new wedding directory company, one which I won't mention on here so not to offend anyone

Ok fair enough the site is probably quite new, it looks great though, however it isn't even ranked with google yet and I'm sure there are alot of other directories so the competition is going to be fierce.

Get ready for this - £10 a month and you can't even have a description or a logo

Does that not seem steep to anyone here? They offer a free listing but only for churches and that kind of thing. We are in the middle of a recession and I really don't understand there pricing. Blimey ... most of us on here could probably set up our own wedding directory within a week - we could all rake it in

Anyway - thats my little moan over with lol

    You wanted 2 years membership

On a serious note--the Internet appears flooded with Wedding Sites, DJs, Entertainers sites etc.

Apart from sponsored ads its hard to see how new vendors will make an impact.

    Mine neither.

That's VERY expensive for a new site with no track record.

I only pay £50 more than that for my most successful online ad...on one of the country's top wedding directories...a site which brings in nearly half my disco bookings!
