Sound preference is a very personal thing. It's always advisable to hear a set of speakers first hand than going purely on recommendations.

That said, RCF have a nice tone to them.

Indeed they have. Almost as nice as the tone on my Class D's.

I've heard class d's too, and was surprisingly impressed. I'd like to hear a set alongside some class d subs.

Sound is a very personal thing so its better to have a listen to a few different speakers before making the decision.

I listened to a few side by side and to my ears it was the RCF. I do think they are as good as what people say they are. They sound really nice.
a 15" you should get a good sound from.

I have 2x ART322A's 2x ART705 subwoofers. I get a lovely sound out of that powerful as well.

Many people are. The cabs with the compression drivers are nicer still. The small subs work fine, but are never going to loosen your fillings. The Pro audio 15" sub is again a major upgrade.

Hi nothing wrong with the 325A ,but i think im right that these have the 2" exit driver hence the A prefix i used to have the 315A version and found they were very harsh with the 2" at close range but sounded fine at the back of the room go and have a listen i think you will be better of for disco work with the version with the 1" exit driver just my thoughts.

i listened to a few rcf's and found them very harsh / toppy just like the makies

in the end settled on the qsc K12's which have a fantastic sound

you really need to take a listen to a few pairs of speakers and make your own mind up,sound is very personal, what i like may not be to your taste and budget.
