Control my Numark Cue software on my laptop by using my Denon DNS3500's?
Doing this would save me having to buy a smaller backup option.

Only timecoded discs would work for playback. The DNS 3500 isn't MIDI enabled, so you couldn't map the controls to certain features within the software.
Obviously your play/cue & loops etc... would still work from the timecoded CDs.
