    Default Gear Sales

I keep getting emails from them a certain online company saying about thier massive warehouse clearance, and then finding there's like £2.50 off a £300 mixer...

What would you consider a proper sale and how much discount of money off would make you part with your cash?

Oh, and be realistic - no 99% off sales etc

10 % if i was looking for something, but 20% would make me buy something even if i didnt really need it.

Surely it would depend on the price that they started from? Some traders, even with a 10% or 20% discount would still be more expensive than some other traders before any discount!

Thats the wonder of the internet. Find the cheapest price first. Then try for the 10-20 % . Also depends on the price to start with. 20% off £1 no big deal. 20% of £1000, now were talking

You have to remember that B.A. has already stripped prices to the bone and he must be making pence on some of the gear he sends out.

He goes for high volume, low mark up, quick turnaround and is rumored to hold up to a £1 Million of Behringer stock at a time.

It comes in on 45 day payment terms and he aims to "clear" it in 30.

Everyone knows they are cheap so I don't know why they bother.
    Exit stage left...
