    Default 29 Private Members Club, Glasgow

    Just taken a last minute booking for a wedding here and wondered if any of the Scottish lads have experience with this venue? Being in Royal Exchange Square, i'm thinking it's going to be a bit of a mare

    Hi Mark,

    I've no experience of it, sorry. The website states it occupies 2 floors, has the client specified if you're upstairs or down? Looks like a really nice venue.

    If it is anything like the New Club in Edinburgh (another Private Members club) - you won't be get access unless you are wearing a shirt, tie and JACKET.

    It's a walk in Gary, sorry forgot to say mate, DI my playout into thier sound system and thier lights too. 10.30 p.m - 2.30 a.m spot, after the band.

    I haven't played there personally but know guys who play regularly at G1 venues.

    I have done several in royal exchange square a few years ago, not done that venue though. The usual thing about working in the town centre is parking..... there in particular, getting the gear in and out, especially at those times will be a disaster. Hope you priced accordingly! Good luck mate!
