    Hope this is ok Steve.

    Recently starting doing some student nights so looking for more the big tunes to play at the peak of the evening.

    To start off these are a few I played and a few I heard played in the clubs after


    1.Kings of Leon - Sex on Fire

    3.MGMT - Kids
    4.Rage against the machine - Killing in the name of
    5.Tenacious D - Tribute
    6.Journey - Dont Stop Belivin'
    7.Bon Jovi - Livin on a prayer
    8.Brian Adams - Summer of 69
    9.House of pain - Jump around
    10.Black eye peas - Pump it

    I played Kids-MGMT on Saturday at an engagement party (fair enough it was on their playlist) but the majority of your list I play regularly. I always thought students were into the more obscure stuff.

    If your not interested in listing then why post on this thread?

    Music policy is slighty different than your "average" mobile disco and I included three examples that I wouldnt play at a gig unless requested.....

    done a students disco a couple of weeks ago was asked for
    1-jamie t-if you got the money
    2-hot chip-over & over
    3-kasabian-processed beats
    4-lets go surfing-the drums
    5-klaxons-golden skans
    6-stone roses-fools gold
    7-shed seven-disco down
    8-hot chip-ready for the floor

    hope these help out they was big tunes on the night

    Summer of 69 works surprisingly well as does Love Shack and Boby Brown's - Two can play that game.
