I'm not sure that is 100% advisable.
Just get yourself a cheapy mixer for the time being.

be of for a newbie
so i can connect my 2 sound cards 1 to each channel
reason for 2 sounds cards is it 1 output per program
so then i can use the mixer to actualy mix
if u follow LOL
then use then 3rd channel for a kareoke machine and the 4th spare with the mic not beeing interupted
i am new at this so excuse me if i make mistakes lol
I wouldn't go for that one, as it hasn't got any eq for the mic or line channels.
If you can afford it, or can save for a little while longer, have a look at this http://www.decks.co.uk/products/mixers/behringer/dx626
I use one of these as a back up and it is very well built.
You have 3 switchable channels, with top, mid and bottom on each channel and a separate mic channel, also with eq on it.
The bpm counter is a bit of a gadget and probably won't be needed though.

You don't need a mixer.
You need a good soundcard (I use Soundblaster), and a mini jack to photo lead!
Job done.
