    Default pc djing

    hi i have a pc an amp 2 400w speakers an external sound card do i need a mixer to connect my pc to the amp or can i just connect it straight to the amp?

    you can just connect the pc into the amp what are the input connections on your amp??

    I'm not sure that is 100% advisable.

    Just get yourself a cheapy mixer for the time being.

    be of for a newbie

    so i can connect my 2 sound cards 1 to each channel reason for 2 sounds cards is it 1 output per program so then i can use the mixer to actualy mix
    if u follow LOL


    then use then 3rd channel for a kareoke machine and the 4th spare with the mic not beeing interupted

    i am new at this so excuse me if i make mistakes lol

    I wouldn't go for that one, as it hasn't got any eq for the mic or line channels.

    If you can afford it, or can save for a little while longer, have a look at this http://www.decks.co.uk/products/mixers/behringer/dx626

    I use one of these as a back up and it is very well built.

    You have 3 switchable channels, with top, mid and bottom on each channel and a separate mic channel, also with eq on it.

    The bpm counter is a bit of a gadget and probably won't be needed though.

    You don't need a mixer.

    You need a good soundcard (I use Soundblaster), and a mini jack to photo lead!

    Job done.
