What have you applied for is it suitable for you ?

Have you physically gone into places and asked if they have any vacancies, you may get 50 refusals , then maybe just when you feel you are getting no where someone just might admire your guts to ask and give you a chance.

I've applied for jobs from packaging operator to receptionist.

I've gone into several factory's and office's in my area, a few of them gave me form's to fill in and will get in touch when a vacancy that could suit me come's available.

Just keep trying I'm sure something will turn up, try not to feel down because that will show through if you do get an interview.

Or you could move to Reading plenty of jobs around here

My eldest son took nearly a year to get a full time job - although he had plenty of good GCSE grades A's and a 2:1 degree I found his CV was very lacking (he was brushing away parental advice, as they do).
The more he fine tuned it the closer he got to a job - IMHO the CV must be brief but sharp, punchy, pertinent, eye catching, etc - In other words don't give them too many reasons to put it to one side.

He also had to travel further in the end - possibly your area is not great for jobs and further afield there may be better prospects.

The other thing is that there are always loads of jobs which no-one wants to do - such as cleaning, washing dishes in restaurants etc. There is a difference between saying "I can't find a job", and "I can't find a job that I am willing to do".

By the way, that is a general statement and not directed at the OP, but what I will say is that it's easier to find another job when you're already in one

I can't travel too far at the moment as I don't have the insurance for a car.

I'll take on any job apart from cleaning toilet's, I can't stomach it

I will help you out tomorrow when I'm fresh.

I have probably had 35 offers from that apprentice site? You must do that ASAP. They'll send you an email everytime an offer becomes available.

Perhaps you could ask a forum member to read over your CV for help or post it on here? You may think it's done but I bet it could do with some tweaking.

150% put the disco thing in. Harp it up big time! It impressed everyone who interviewed me. It shows commitment, determination and everything Martin said!

Stress that you're motivated, passionate and willing to learn & take heed of advise.

You're approachable, great team player, have a good sense of humour, variety of mates and interets. You enjoy family time and helping others out.

    More tomorrow.

Believe you will get it and you will - Cosmic ordering.
Dress smart, print a good CV on good paper and act confident and relaxed.
Have you tried the agencies? That a great start.

Having said that i have never had a proper job
I am unemployable as although a hard worker I do my own thing all the time.
    Managers do not like that.
