YouTube - American Dj jelly dome
It looks like the ideal position for maximum effect of this unit is--

    a. Middle of Dance Floor

    b. On the ceiling.

Like the idea, cant see me using it because of a and b

Fine for Night Clubs/Fixed Locations, cant see it for Mobile use.

I use 2 of the ADj TRILED Sunrays (very similar to the above) for each and every gig as they are such a versatile little light. They create a lovely effect just attached to my lighting truss.

I'm very tempted to try the new Jelly version as the ambient lighting looks to enhance the already great unit.

How do they attach to a truss--they look more like Mirror Balls

Would they go on a standard T bar

    thanks

I just use a clamp like the one above and attach the light to vertical part of the clamp with bolt and wing nut.

    Hope this helps!

So, Barry - do you have it dome pointing outwards then? (as opposed to downwards as in the shop in the video)

    Hi Angela

Yes, i point the light forward (attached picture for reference).
Its just a really nice Room Filler when set on 'slow' for early during the evening, and for a first dance. After that, i set it off as sound to light and strobe!

This is what I was wondering--

The demo suggests they are pointed at the floor or ceiling.

On your rig could they be pointed at the ceiling?

Looks the only alternative I would use.

I'm sure it could be pointed 'up' if required, as the bold screw firmly to the truss to secure it.
