    Default 4 core Audio Cable

Anyone got any links or retailers that sell 4 core audio cable by the metre. The majority of sites I have checked only sell by 100 metre rolls. I only need about 30 metres of some 4 core.

Have you tried CPC? They sell a lot of their stuff by the metre.

Edit: don't bother, no 4 core only 100m

Only the top one is by the metre & doesn't appear to be in the book (probably why I didn't see it). At least we've found some now.

Can I be nosey & ask what you're going to use it for?

Specsavers, mate. The link given by Andy shows 1155, which is the page number it appears on. Right hand page, bottom of middle column. Unless you're using an old catalogue, cos it's flagged up as "New", so I guess it wouldn't be in an old one.

Proposed use? I'm guessing there's a cunning plan to either bi-amp some cabs, or lose a wire to subs and tops ( in effect the same thing )

I'm also guessing that he actually means 4 core screened cable, not speaker cable. Et voila.

Thanks for response. I had a old cpc catalogue here and was only showing by the 100m reel.

Yeah. I need to bi-amp for a installation system we have for a venue but only need 30 metres of 4 core at the very most.

I was also going to ask peoples views on the more expensive branded audio and signal cables. Is it worth the extra? Does it make much difference etc.. The 4 core I'm going to be running is into 4 Ev cabinets and will be a bi-amped system.
I have seen the more expensive cable such as klotz etc but wondered if it's worth paying the extra compared to between the cheaper cable at 3 - 5 quid a metre.

The gear is only as good as the cables that are connecting it. I would say its worth that bit extra for decent cabling.

Can you play something with a beat ?
