Here's another online directory that's been harvesting details to bulk out it's database.

As people may know, I'm very protective of my brand and I don't like others using my details without my consent. What seems to make this worse is this company is based in Australia!

I'll be sending off the usual email and waiting for there reply.

Anyone else had the email? Any other thoughts on this kind of thing?

I also recieved an email today from this Hotfrogdotcom. To say I am furious would be an understatment

Like you I do not like my details being harvested for someone elses benefit.

My details & name are my property, I believe for companies to do this without my consent is theft!

Unfortunatly its is happening more & more these days,

I have also sent them a very disgruntled email pointing out my objections

Please. I've just got an email telling me that Excalibur Mobile Disco is now listed on Hotfrog. Is this good, no good, or useless, and will someone shortly ask me for money? Anyone else had the mail, or signed up with them? Thoughts please, and thanks.

Oops. I started a thread in Business Help, before I read this. Yes, I got the email, but I don't understand t'interweb, so I don't know if this is good or bad, free or costly, or whatever. Hopefully, if I keep reading this post, I'll learn something.

I wouldn't worry I got a similar message at the day job saying one of our office portfolio's has been listed on hotfrog.

I deleted and ignored.

As I have said in the other thread. I have had a notification in the day job that they have listed one of my office portfolio web sites.

I have just ignored and deleted it.

OH now they are merged and I look like a half wit.
