got a 40th birthday party coming up at the end of the month with a carribean theme, the lady would like some sort of carribean music

i got the carriibean disco show, so will listen to that and get some of those tracks but can you help me out with some more tracks that might be appropiate please

Is the host, or any of the guests from the Caribbean?

Reason I ask is that from my experience of a couple of similar theme nights I've done (Hawaiian and Egyptian) the people weren't interested in any theme music at all (and I had loads!)

You've probably got a bit more scope with Caribbean though, but I wouldn't worry too much about getting it 100% accurate unless there's a proper Caribbean connection. I'd keep it to well known, sunny, dancey type tunes like Hot Hot Hot etc.

And having a Limbo competition might be fun though if you wanted to add a bit of interaction to the night.

no, they are off there on holiday, i agree with what your saying about theme nights, but i want to be prepared just in case.
