You can, but they cost a bloody fortune. This was the original plan & I think it may be the one that goes into action.

I already have a 8 D panel there, which currently only houses a USB port & 8 dust caps.

It will cost about £30 more than what I was hoping to do if I could get the exact panel I wanted, but it will look tidy & professional, which is what I want (as well as functionality).

That is the exact one I have in place.

A fortune? Those combi plugs are less than a £1 each if you buy 10!

It has been pointed out that I'm not being entirely clear.

When I say I want jack sized holes, I want just that. Not because I want to put jack sockets in there, but because these http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/search/pr...36&Ntt=av14936 will fit into them. The D size equivalent http://cpc.farnell.com/switchcraft/e...03?Ntt=AV17903 is £9.47 incVAT (when I said a fortune I meant in comparison)

Edit: I know you can get D series phono sockets cheaper, but they involve soldering & that is too much hassle for something that is only going to get used once in a blue moon.

I'm glad you posted a link for those rca connections, I was only looking for something like that last night and couldnt find any. I have just ordered some.

I cant be doing with soldering either, I also have XLR adapters like that that fit into a panel without having to solder.

Steve i know you didn't really want to go downt he route of blanking plates BUT what about the rubber bungs you can buy that will fit into the hold perfect.

The bungs are similar to the little rubber bits on the kamstand, ulitmax etc etc

Sorry running out of ideas so ill now lol

Well if we're heading down that route, what about this universal bung?

Sorry guys, not the solution(s) I'm after.

I think it will end up with me using D size sockets, unless anyone can come up with the 4 x 4 panel I'm after.
