    Default HK Actor DX subs

I'm getting a pair of Subs from the HK Actor DX range (1 active, and one passive). Has anyone used these before??

Their spec and reputation is impressive, but wondered if anyone has had any first had dealings with them?

yes, I use an ACTOR DX system, very punchy bass.

how are you sending the signal to the active speaker?

I link out of the Actor Full range cabinet that has the crossover and the signal processing bits in it.

I'm not sure how they would sound without going through the full range cabinet.....

I also use the HK Actor DX, superb system !!

I wouldn't recommend using the subs with proper professional advice, as the tops have the processor in them, and as such determine the frequencies and crossover points if using no sub, 1 sub or 2 subs, DJ or Band etc etc.

DO go for HK subs, but probably not the actors unless you are going to get the tops
Probably the best DJ in whole of the area between Rusper Road and Littlehaven Station in Horsham

i was thinking along the lines of just having the sub (or subs if pairing them) receiving the signal fom the Mixer, and then having full range EV cabs via an Amp. This would be ok, wouldn't it?
