Get the Pulse ones from CPC -they are cheap, easy to programme and versatile.

I too have colourbursts 12 of them but also have 18 LEDJ Par 56's reason for 2 types is the colourbursts fit in to smaller spaces and I find less cumbersome but prefer to use the 56's for larger jobs.

The beauty of using these types is that they're both 4 ch so able to use the lil mix if colour mixing is needed.

    Couple of pics for you:

First one is using 8 colourbursts.

Second is 4 LEDJ PAR 56's

Charlie, Where did you get your lights from as I need to get some in the next week and considering either the colour bursts or the Slimline 229. Not sure wether to have more lower power lights or less brighter lights.

I paid £300 for dmx leads, stands, power leads, flight cases and the lights.

I knew they weren't going to be as bright as my 56's or 64's. I have a few uplighting jobs in the summer with really high ceilings and I don't think these will be sufficient.
where did you get this deal? im interested.

There are a lot of great lights highlighted in this thread, at very low prices, does anyone know which 56's on here have power chaining IEC outs?,

I've just bought the acme Slimline LED par set for £300 ... 4 lights iec daisy chainable, dmx comes with padded bag, cables and simple controller... Cables are to short for real uplighting though so u will have to buy buy I'm happy 

Specifically wanted Slimline due to shortage of space
