Thanks Graham.
I'm planning to use it as a remote speaker for smoking areas at weddings and possibly as a discrete source for ceremony music, so it doesn't need to be "bangin"!
Any other first hand reviews?

They use them at Dudley zoo, and I must say for outdoor use they are quite impressive. The only let down was the operator (she had the most annoying voice )

Does this mean the use of the cordless mikes will be illegal when the new regs come into force ?

Right guys, had a play in the house, and TBH, im impressed.
Fairly light, very easy to operate and a clear crisp (for the price) sound.
The radio mic's arnt brilliant, build quality wise ald feel/look cheap...but I suppose they are Not sure on the range right now, but I'm going to take the system down to my dads and check it outside.
Overall, right now I'm impressed. I'm thinking of getting one of QTX's plain and simple powered speakers, the QR12A as a bit of extra sound reinforcement...the only downside is the fact that their basic model still requires power cables....

I'm not sure that's the right phrase either! Channel 38 is the new channel that is available for UHF radio mics. Channel 69 won't be used anymore - just channel 70 and channel 38.
