    Default Eighties Night

Had a cracking night on Saturday playing to a sold out crowd of 200 people in a local hotel. Some brilliant tunes, some excellent requests, rammed dance floor for the duration. But as always ONE dissenter! I'm packing down, and the "lady" comes over in a slight stagger alongside another lady,"Oi...you didn't play any Wham!"
Me: "Actually madam, I did, I played Edge of Heaven, and Careless Whisper "(yes I know its George Michael only, but it appears on a Wham! Album),
"Well you didn't play any Culture Club!"
Me: "Umm, what about Karma Chameleon?"
"Well you never played Depeche Mode!"
Me: "Except Just can't get enough?"
"But you never played any Madness!"
    Me: "One Step Beyond"
"Well there was lots of stuff you never played!"
Me: "You're right, in my four hour set, I didn't play EVERY song released in the 1980s, I'll play them next time!"
    "That's ok then, I wasn't moaning..just saying that's all!"

    Sheesh! Beam me up Scotty!

Always amazes me people wait until the end to start discussing this!

I'd love to see the playlist if you have a copy of it (and not to tell you what else you should've played )
