    Default 100w & 250W

    Hi,

    is there noticeable differences between the to lights.

    I have just paid for a pair of 100w lights and did not see they was 100w.

    All my other lights are 250w

    Here are the lights i got

    I don’t want to state the obvious here but when you get them stick them with your other lights and see what you think.
    250w should be brighter but it depends on the efficiency of the optics.
    I don’t think it will be a difference that will make them stand out like a sore thumb.

    Dam I no I have messed up here. Looks like they will be back on ebay.

    I had £100 to get a pair of lights and seen this with a case i was like quids in and i got the for £80. Snapped them up. then though to good to be true then bag seen 100w

    We see what happens might be not be as bad. finger crossed

    If I have translated your post correctly from the local patois, then I would suggest that before you do anything rash, compare the 100w fixtures side by side with your 250w ones. The perceived difference in light output may be negligible. It all depends on optics and the like.

    The 100w NJD fixtures are noticeably different to the 250w ones, but thats NJD fixtures.

    And according to what I've seen and heard on here, 100w Acme Dynamos are exceedingly bright, and very similar to 250w ones.

    Yes. I'm gonna have a look when they come to see but I think i might have to.

    i looked on a youtube video with acme dynamos 250 and this acme magic looks total different


    After rereading this his acme magic and 50w lamps in.

    I had a pair of Magic Gobos years ago and they didn't look any different to the Datamoons I was using at the time.

    Yeh I'm gonna give them a try when they come if they look out of place then im gonna try uprate them.

    I just hope they look good.

    I remember seeing Daves acme scanners 100w and they was bright.
