This is what in the back of my martin destroyers.
but look like they only do 18v or 30v should it be best to get the 18v.

I'd have thought this sort of DIY mod would void your PLI as well.
I suggest you study electronics and have a far better knowledge of the issues involved.
-Heat effect on Electronics (how do you know your fan is keeping it cool enough for long term use?)
-Power Supply issue to Lamp
-Power Supply issues for Larger Cooling Fan (normally higher surge current)
-Cost and Risk of doing this, vs selling the fixture and getting the correct one!
If you consider what you're doing, and your low knowledge of electronic terms.
This kind of thing can be done, but by someone with more test gear and knowledge than you.
Perhaps the best will be to stick with that 6VA transformer?

its very easy just but the 250W version or equivilent - will be cheeper less hassle and also wont affect your disco insurance as tehy will likely refuse to pay out if it all goes terribly wrong !

Well my other 250watt light has transformers like this.Perhaps the best will be to stick with that 6VA transformer?
It only powering a low voltage lamp.

In theory yes but don’t forget the fan and PCB often runs off the ELV supply.
In general volts jolt, amps kill and you are talking about 10A.
Don’t forget every thing in the chain needs to be suitably rated, for example in a datamoon there is a brightness switch, relay for the blackout function and don’t forget the thickness of the cables.
Personally I would either stick with them as 100w or sell them on.

I did not think the board run of the transformer as well. I will have to check the voltage of the board.
Thats whay i wanted the acme transformer as that one is just for the lamp.
240v in and 24v out.
But i cart see one any where
This is the closest I can find without spending a huge amount of time looking.
