Id leave well alone else youll end up a "Late dj".
the BIG problem is the CONTROL board will run off the
old 12 volts supply "IF" you can get round this by
putting in a BIG 24 VOLTS transformer and tapping off a
12 volt supply to run the electronics
simply fit a mains fan running constantly
change the LAMPHOLDER and lamp and your away
But my advise is
IF YOUR NOT AN ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!
Why did you buy the 100 watters they wont be very bright at all??

That was the closest I could find in a short space of time, I haven’t got time to find an exact one for you. It could be you need to get one from a specialist suppler such as Ideal Power.
I agree with what Dave has said, if your not an engineer/electrician leave it alone!
Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing.
It was here first.
Keep a fire extinguisher handy....... you may just need it!

Oh no could end up being very messy you would require a primary and secondary tap transformer. 1 being 12 volt with the other at 24 volt or fir 2 transformers. IMO why don't you sell the 100w lights and get some 250w lights.
It will be safer than the bumbling about you seem to be doing are you qualified to fit the transformers?
I did my stage one in being a sprakie, after school in a apprenticeship. But company went bump.
My brother is a qualified sparkie and works for birmingham council.
So at this moment in time i need to get the light and see what the board using and what the old transformer is out putting.
I was looking at just fitting an other transformer in there so the older one will do the board an new one just does the lamp
One way to avoid fitting a bulky transformer inside the casing would be a couple of lorry batteries in series, to provide 24v, and a pair of heavy duty jump leads should overcome the problem of sufficient current.
Well we will see when the light come.
I wanna see whats involved and the thread is here to see if anyone else has done.
If not i maybe the first.
First I wanna see what the transformer in the light what that does.
If 12v and the board running 12v then i might just leave it be big having to transformer in the light.
I bet the board runs about 6 / 9 .
