I've been offering additional services for a while now, and although I don't advertise them properly, I'm finding nobody is really taking them up. I don't know if there I'm too expensive or what, but uplighting, gobo projection and LED dancefloors don't seem to be too popular in my area.
Piping, however, is very popular. I have been doing that for many years though.
Have you considered if there is a requirement for it?

Don't bother. Focus on the discos, learn your music and mic skills and start generating a bit more business before you leap into something else. I know this is very hypocritical but y'know...
Right........
I've spoke to my mum and she says that its not going to do any harm the only things she does say is that she is not sure about the red carpet.

So instead of take advice from people with experience in the trade who say something you dont like you ask your mother?
I would of hoped Charlies recent tales and experiences would of put younger jocks off doing these sorts of things..

Oh great... another one who wants to run before he can walk!
Matthew - I really thought that you were going to go about it the right way: concentrating on catching up with your schooling, and building up your disco business on solid ground.
We've seen several young DJs get themselves into trouble because they are over-reaching.
PLEASE take notice of what people are telling you, and don't go down this route yet.
