If I could maybe point you in the direction of an older post

Many times people have contacted the OP via Private Message before posting in the thread ( it's happened with me in the past). So although it may look like "queue jumping" from what you can see from within the thread....it's not always the case.

Maybe an idea to put a forum rule in place to avoid this sort of thing happening in the future ?
Maybe it's just me eh ?
Or is it bad sportsmanship ?
Come on moderators - make a ruling on it will you , or is it going to be swept under the carpet like the last fiasco ?
After all , MDD has rules for everything else that takes place within its virtual walls.

Yes - we do. We state that all transactions are of a private nature between the buyer and the seller, and MDD is not responsible in any way.
It's up to a seller to decide who they want to sell to, and it's not something that we will, or want, to get involved in.

Exactly!
Digital Jack, if you're not happy with the way certain sections of the forum run then my best advice is to avoid those sections. Things are absolutely fine and run pretty well as they are.

You see my point though ?
Or am I alone in thinking that MDD has a system all of its own ?
Don't get me wrong , I'm not criticizing anyone or anything , on this I must make myself clear.
It's just that any other forum I am / have been a member of have a system that they all adhere to , MDD is different in all aspects.
I think this is why I'm experiencing these .........altercations ???

I'd be very surprised if any other forum dictated to whom a seller must sell products that they have for sale, but regardless of whether they do or not, I think we have enough rules about selling, and I don't think it's fair to derail this thread any more.
We rely on our members to act honourably, and every member has the choice whether or not to sell / purchase via the forum or not. We are merely providing the means to advertise those goods.
Now...

Of course it does, it's an independent forum. Why would it be the same as everything else?

Surely the most sensible way. I for one do not regard the public display of bargaining as seemly. I applaud the fact that we can publicly ask questions about items, or purchase things at the asking price.
Everything else is best conducted privately.
One forum I know has the for sale section as a no reply area. This has good and bad aspects.
