    Default Civil Partnerships

I did a few when the law changed and thought it was going to be a fantastic market and lots more work, but the truth is, it appears to be a very quiet market for me and not as much work and interest as I originally thought.

    Any views on this?

Exactly the same for me. I did 3 in the first year when the law changed and none since.

    Fairly much mirrors my experience.

Pretty much the same here. Very few enquiries for these now (Mind you, we've got one next month).

It could be that some are specialising in this market and they are the ones getting the work,

On a related note..... Noticed a typo on my enquiry form the other day... I'd put 'Civil Ceremony' instead of 'Civil Partnership'. It's been like that for the last year and I didn't notice! That probably hasn't helped much!!!

I've only done one (which was an absolute blast..I got on really well with them and even had a dance at the end. Not sure why. ) and have one in September..should be two, but they suddenly decided I was too pricey.

I have entertained at a fair few but still not as many as I would have liked or hoped for.

Similar story here - I've done three - all were good nights - I got a further booking from one of them to do a G.A.Y night type disco for a Birthday Party (even though the Civil Partnership Event I got that booking from was a pretty standard night). I've had one cancelled on me for this year (they split up) and I've got one booked for May next year.

I know quite a few gay guys, and only two of them have been in a relationship for longer than 3 years, so there might be something in that (although that is based only on my experience, which I'm aware might not be reflective of the UK as a whole).
