    Hello

I have a Numark CDN25+G also and have used one of these to output both decks to one monitor system...

I'm now digital, so don't need to use the player anymore (is for sale on MDD).

You can get auto switchers, but i do not recommend thse because of signal 'bleed' confusing the switching unit !!

    Thank you

It was actually your for sale thread that prompted my curiosity Glenn. I just couldn't figure out how it could work. All is clear now.

    That would work, Steve.

I use an enhanced scart selector switch which has several different input and output types. Inputs can be scart, RCA, S-Video or VGA and it can output to scart, RCA or S-Video. It has automatic switching which can be over-ridden and switched manually. This gets round the problem of two signals fighting over the automatic selection, a problem which you mentioned earlier. I think I bought it for about £25 from Argos about 6 years and still use it today. At the time it's use was to take an s-video output from the laptop and play it through a tv monitor which it coped with quite well. It meant I could combine karaoke from my stand-alone CD+G player with graphics, animations and video from the laptop and output them to the same source.

I've done a quick search but can't seem to find reference to it online. I'm not at home so I don't have the model number to hand.
